I recently experienced my first “100-day celebration” - an important event in Asian culture. It’s “…a banquet that marks a baby reaching the 100-day milestone. The Chinese belief is that hosting it on the 100th day will bless the baby with a fulfilling and prosperous life. But more than anything, it’s a party to celebrate your family’s newest member and introduce them to friends and family” (Mary Chan).

I learned about this important event when a potential client, Kelly, reached out to me looking for a photographer to capture this important milestone known as, “100 Days”. It was an honor to capture Saba’s “100 Day” session, and I got to be a part of an important celebration in Asian Culture!
